At 40 years old I began to notice signs of aging, needless to say, I was shocked and horrified! As a woman, I never felt more secure or comfortable within myself at the time, however, the mirror showed me one of life’s cruel jokes. My internal spirit felt young but reflecting back was the fact, my chronological age was beginning to show.

In that same time frame my daughter at age 13 was suffering with cystic acne. After spending hundreds of dollars without resolve on medications, creams, and doctor visits our dermatologist recommended a series of chemical peels. In an attempt to avoid high boutique pricess we landed in an esthetic training school.

While my daughter was receiving her acne treatments, I was beginning to see the opportunity. The realm where all my separate studies, interest, and inclinations would mesh together. Although I wasn’t searching, the field of esthetic’s was really exciting! I thought “Could the hands of time really be turned back? Acne does respond to esthetic treatments.” My overwhelming response was sign me up!

This education quest lead me to receive my license in 2002. I have trained with Dr. G. Durst of Penonia/Medicalia and continue to further my scope of physiology with ongoing training through Mark Lees, Ph.D. I am certified in microcurrent through Myontonolgy of Santa Barbara, Calif.

Today, 6 years later, Image of Youth has helped teens manage that awkward adolescent time with one less stress (acne). We have proudly returned a healthy glowing tightened complexion to women & men 20-75 years old all without downtime or surgery.
